Zumikon/Switzerland - There had never been a German double victory in the history of the European Championships. There had only been one successful title defense so far.
The success story for German golf in general and for Matthias Schmidspeziell continues. At the same time as the girls reached the finals of the European Team Championship in Slovakia, the 22-year-old model athlete from the squad of national coach Ulli Eckhardt put on the European crown for the second time in a row and will thus be able to participate in the next "The Open" among the world stars.
